Over the years, I’ve come to realize the importance and relevance of Planning and Execution, as I have seen it...

For over a decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of research, fieldwork, and academia; across Nigeria, Ghana, and the United States.
My journey has taken me deep into aquatic ecosystems and coastal communities, where I’ve witnessed firsthand how climate change and environmental pressures are reshaping lives and landscapes.
I work at the intersection of science, policy, and community to advance sustainable fisheries and climate resilience. My work spans research, leadership, and advocacy, all aimed at safeguarding ecosystems while empowering people.
I am a fisheries scientist studying compliance in recreational fisheries, linking human behaviour to ecosystems, and informing global fisheries management.
I focus on evidence-based fisheries management, tackling climate adaptation, marine sustainability, and governance to balance ecosystems with human livelihoods.
Passionate about leadership and community, I founded Mary Soetan Initiative and volunteer with OML Africa, YALI, YAWC advancing inclusion.
I seek to advance fisheries and climate resilience research, expand into broader environmental issues, and pursue impactful postdoctoral opportunities.
